Accountabilities
- Mobile App Design: Design intuitive and responsive interfaces aligned with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design principles.
- Backend Integration: Use Node.js to support backend functionality, including asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Blockchain Features: Integrate decentralized ledgers, smart contracts, and cryptographic security into the app’s design.
- Social Networking: Design user profiles, feeds, messaging, and social interactions with a focus on privacy and security.
- Marketplace Functionality: Develop intuitive marketplace interfaces, including product listings, secure payment gateways, and user reviews.
- UI/UX Tools: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- Frontend Collaboration: Work with frontend developers to integrate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based designs effectively.
- Agile Workflow: Participate in Agile sprints, iterate on designs based on user feedback, and adapt to development constraints.
Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Design Engineer to define and refine the user experience and visual identity of the Linework App. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user journey.
Your expertise in mobile app design principles, blockchain integration, and social networking features will drive the development of a seamless and engaging platform. This position requires a strategic mindset, technical knowledge, and a passion for creating innovative and user-centric designs.
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience: 3+ years in design engineering with a strong portfolio of mobile and web applications.
- Design Expertise: Familiarity with advanced design practices, including clock/voltage domain crossing and low-power design.
- Programming Skills: Strong experience in Verilog/System Verilog; knowledge of CPU/ARM instruction sets is a plus.
- Backend Tools: Experience with synthesis and static timing analysis (STA) tools is an advantage.
- Scripting: Proficient in programming languages like Perl, C, Python, and Node.js.
- Verification: Familiarity with verification methodologies is a plus.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Understanding of blockchain integration into mobile and web applications.
- Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Language: Native/Bilingual English skills are mandatory.
